Join us for Jane’s Walk 2026

There’s a lot happening downtown; the new library, art gallery and event centre, new residential projects, the Downtown Master Plan update and more.

Kingsmount-Bell Park residents are invited to join Rainbow Routes for Jane’s Walk 2026 – an exploration of the history and future of living, working, and playing in downtown Sudbury through the lens of Jane Jacobs.

Jane’s Walks celebrate the legacy of Jane Jacobs (1916-2006) – urban planner, activist and writer. Her ideas and activism influenced generations of designers and planners. The walks are pedestrian-focused events that offer insights into local history, planning, design, and civic engagement through the simple act of walking and observing.
