Join us Sunday, August 24, 1:30-3:00 pm, as we stroll through the history of the old “General”. In 1944, the Sisters of St. Joseph purchased the Stafford property at 700 Paris Street to respond to the need for additional hospital facilities. The formal opening of Sudbury’s new hospital was celebrated on October 15th, 1950. Seventy-five years later the demolition has begun and a new chapter of lakeside residential living begins.

Good morning Paul, sorry I had to miss this hike, do you have written info on this topic? My relatives were leaving from mom’s celebration of life and I couldn’t go.
Maybe you’ll do it again.
Thanks Anna Cheaney
