Street Trees 2025

Last Fall, the Kingsmount-Bell Park CAN planted 12 trees on neighbourhood front lawns. This year, the Street Trees Project is back. We will be purchasing a limited number of trees suitable for planting in residential front yards and offering them to property owners at $50 per tree. The cost includes:
– Mulch, stakes, tree supports, root growth agent
– Ontario One Call digging locate/authorization
– One tree (height ranging from 5-15 feet)
– Tree planting (small crew of CAN volunteers will plant the tree for you!)

Eligibility is limited to residents who live and own property within the boundaries of the Kingsmount-Bell Park CAN. See map. The Street Tree project will adhere to the City of Greater Sudbury’s Standards for Planting Street Trees.

It is our goal to further enhance the walkability of our neighbourhoods by contributing to the tree canopy. Request your tree by submitting your name, address, email and phone number on the form below. Requests will be considered on a first-come first-served basis. All planting will need to be completed by early November, 2025.

Support for this project comes from the annual budget allocated to the K-BP CAN by the City of Greater Sudbury and a generous donation from A&M Remediation Ltd.
