Join us for Jane’s Walk 2025

Kingsmount-Bell Park residents are invited to join Rainbow Routes for its 2025 Jane’s Walk – an exploration of the history and future of living, working, and playing in downtown Sudbury.

Jane’s Walks celebrate the legacy of Jane Jacobs – urban planner, activist and writer. Her ideas and activism influenced generations of designers and planners. The walks are pedestrian-focused events that offer insights into local history, planning, design, and civic engagement through the simple act of walking and observing.

There’s a lot happening downtown; the new library, art gallery and event centre, the future of the Sudbury Community Arena, new residential projects, the Downtown Master Plan update and more. Paul Haynes will be joined by special guests including Jeff McIntyre, Executive Director, Downtown Sudbury BIA, and Tony Norwell, Project Manager, City of Greater Sudbury.
