Downtown Heritage Walk

You are invited to attend the signing of a Proclamation designating Heritage Week in Greater Sudbury Wednesday, February 19 at 2:00 pm. The event will be held in the foyer of Tom Davies Square. A Heritage Walk through downtown from Tom Davies Square to the Library on Mackenzie Street will follow.

The Heritage Committee of the Kingsmount-Bell Park Community Action Network requested the special designation early this month.

This year Heritage Week in Ontario runs February 17-23 and is recognized by cities and towns across the province to raise awareness of local heritage assets and resources. It can also provide a platform to reflect on how we conserve, promote and commemorate our heritage.
