Downtown Heritage Walk

Mayor Paul Lefebvre will officially proclaim Heritage Week in Greater Sudbury Wednesday, February 19 at 2:00 pm. The Heritage Committee of the Kingsmount-Bell Park Community Action Network requested the special designation early this month.

This year Heritage Week in Ontario runs February 17-23 and is recognized by cities and towns across the province to raise awareness of local heritage assets and resources. It can also provide a platform to reflect on how we conserve, promote and commemorate our heritage.

You are invited to attend the event which will be held in the foyer of Tom Davies Square, Wednesday, February 19 at 2:00 pm. A Heritage walk through downtown from Tom Davies Square to the Library on Mackenzie Street will follow.
