Free Tree Pilot Project

Submissions closed

The Kingsmount-Bell Park CAN has purchased a limited number of trees suitable for planting in residential front yards – maples, lindens, red oaks, ivory silk lilac, burr oak. It is our goal to help contribute to the tree canopy coverage and to further enhance the walkability of our neighbourhoods.

Eligibility is limited to residents who live and own property within the boundaries of the Kingsmount-Bell Park CAN. See map. Any trees received must follow the Street Tree Policy for the City of Greater Sudbury.

K-BP CAN volunteers can help locate and plant your tree, as required. All planting will need to be completed by October 31, 2024.

Request your tree by submitting your name, address, and phone number on the form below by October 15, 2024.

Funding for this project comes from the annual budget allocated to the K-BP CAN by the City of Greater Sudbury.
